How to Take Rejections Gracefully (requested by Nini)

Is there really a way to take rejections gracefully?  It always tends to sting when we put our hopes up for something, only to find disappointment at the end. If it makes you feel better, we all go through it.

I guess the truth is, there is no way of taking rejections gracefully, but there is one thing that can help us get over it; confidence. How does that work, you ask? Well, if you are confident in the person that you are and the qualities you possess, it’s only right to accept that this person, by overlooking you, has rejected something good. In other words, they too lose.

The way I see it, we focus too much on getting a chance from someone instead of realizing, with confidence, that we are giving each other a chance. While putting focus on what someone can bring to the table, remember the things of value you yourself bring. It’s always easier to take rejection when you know how much you are worth. Because you’ve already validated yourself, the opinions and thoughts of others mean nothing to you.

Although, initially, it won’t be easy, just remember to look at what you behold instead of looking at what you’ll be leaving behind. I mean, in reality, how can someone reject something they’ve never experienced. Think about it!
