Love Dating Advice
We all live in a world in which we search for love. That’s right, our one true love in which we look to spend the rest of our lives with. The problem is a lot of us go looking for look with the wrong expectations. We expect love to be a certain way. Whether it be from what we see in the movies or from what we see from our peers, we all have this great vision of this “perfect love.”
Some believe in the word love more than the true feeling of love itself. The words, I love you, have come to be used loosely. Without the feeling of love, those words wouldn’t really mean anything. When I asked a young lady by the name Jacky So to define love for me, keeping it as short as possible, she went on to say, “I would either say that it is what it is…or, more directly, what isn’t it? That’s the most I can define something undefined.” I must say, I like that answer.
Regardless of what we think love is, we all say it differently, act it out differently and most definitely feel it differently. Sad to say, many don’t even know what to say about it and some think it’s just too much involved to explain. Comes to show how we tend to complicate things as human beings.
What is love? No other book has defined love better than the Bible itself which says, “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.”
Whatever love means to you, I say just live it! Many of us fear something that should be so wonderful. After all, had we lived it, less souls would be hurt, more commitments would be made, and the divorce rates would surely drop. Love….
