Online Marriage Counseling
There are infinite books and sites that offer marital advice promising to help repair relationships, preventing them from destruction. Is it really necessary? Although these sources have taken a lot of credit for helping many overcome troubles in their relationship, does all the credit really belong to them?
To tell you the truth, no two people can stay together unless they really want to be together. All the guidance in the world wouldn’t be able to glue the best of two. I’m not saying that these online marriage counselors are useless, I’m just saying that if you really love and cherish your other half, you have what it takes to make it work.
Sometimes it’s good, in times of doubt, to reflect of the good and wonderful moments spent together versus the listing of bad effects. That’s right, every marriage has its ups and downs, therefore, it’s the foundation of your relationship that keeps your marriage grounded.
It seems like we boast and brag of our mate at the beginning, labeling them “just perfect,” but as problems arise, we tend to forget the core. We remember only what we want in order to justify our emotions. Remember, as the Bible states, “the heart is treacherous” and may mislead us. For that reason, let’s use our head, think, and then make the right decision. Always let love prevail at the end!
