Speed Dating Advice
There are so many things we want to know about someone before we let them in completely. Whether or not we are successful, we want to make sure that we have taken the time in choosing the right fit for ourselves. It’s always good to have confidence in the decisions we make when selecting the right person. If you have a hard time making the right selection as it is, I can imagine how taken back you may be by speed dating.
In reality, speed dating requires the same awareness as basic dating. You’re probably thinking to yourself, “Impossible!” As impossible as it may sound, it is very possible. Just like everything else in life, it’s not what you do, but instead, it’s how you do it. Now I know it’s already hard as it is for many to make good out of an unrestrained date but when you really think about it, the same rules apply to both methods. The difference is, in speed dating, you have to get the right questions out quicker in order to get the right reaction in the short period of time that is given.
Notice I said the right reaction and not the right answer. You’re probably wondering, “Why ask a question if the answer is not the most important factor right?” Well the reason is that words don’t really mean much nowadays because it seems like many have come to master the right words say at the right time. Nevertheless, very, and I mean very few are able to project the sincerity behind the words that they speak.
In order to attain such ability, it is vital that you remain very attentive and observant. Listen to the way the people speak and pay close attention to the way they react to the things that you say. Another important thing is body language. The words that exit one’s mouth is to match the actions in which they speak. See, you can tell a lot about someone just by observing them.
It’s just like a presidential election. We don’t know what to expect from the candidates. The only thing we can do is, listen and observe. We take in what they say and we watch the way they interact with the people. The same rules apply.
The actions of one’s being is what determines one’s true self. In other words, if someone is not being true to their words, they will without a doubt, contradict themselves. Anyone can say the right things, but it’s not everyone that can do the right things and that is what’s more important. Why buy a dream that won’t come true?
